GR/GV GTspec hood ('08-'14 Impreza/WRX/STI)

We all know the stock GR/GV hood is a fat steel pig at 45lbs so we put it on a massive diet and cut it down to an amazingly slender 9lbs (80% loss) making it the lightest direct bolt on hood on the market. Then, for those that wanted maximum performance and needed to go to a front mount intercooler, we chopped off the parachute hood scoop and added three huge inverted vents to suck all the heat out of the engine bay and improve aerodynamic flow over the car instead of under it. The quality? Made with 100% high strength aerospace grade carbon fiber (top and bottom), infused with a UV stable epoxy and then clear coated with a high gloss automotive grade clear coat for added UV/weather protection that is sure to outlast those ring lands.

The hood pictured was made with an optional honeycomb carbon fiber. Prices listed are for the standard 2x2 twill weave. Please contact us for info and pricing for optional weaves as there are far too many to list

All hoods come with a striker and are ready to install but as with any and all composite hoods from any manufacturer, hood pins are recommended
